China to Hold Seventh Leather Fair in SeptemberChina's Seventh National Leather Fair is scheduled for September 1-4 in the city of Haining, a booming leather production and trade center in east China's Zhejiang Province.The fair is sponsored by the State Administration of Light Industry, the State Administration of Internal Trade, the China Leather Industry Association, and the Zhejiang provincial government, and it will display and sell dozens of leather products, including clothing, suitcases, gloves and shoes. Leather traders from 12 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Italy, Finland, Denmark, and Turkey, are expected to attend the fair. A leather clothing design competition will also be staged during the four-day event. China held its first fair of this kind in 1994. |
