"Week of No Smoking Campaign" Opens in Pyongyang

A "week of no smoking campaign" opened with due ceremony in Pyongyang on August 1.

Present at the opening ceremony were minister of public health Kim Su Hak, officials concerned, medical workers and youth and students in Pyongyang.

The "no smoking torch" was lighted to inaugurate the week.

The DPRK reiterates its pledge to conduct more brisk and intensive activities to make the 21st century a century free from smoking.

The "week of no smoking campaign" will also open in Nampho, Phyongsong, Sariwon and other parts of the country.
