Chinese Bullet Trains Began to Run

The first streamlined bullet trains, which were developed by China began running in Shanxi province August 1, 2000.

This train is equipped with a global position satellite system, shock absorption system, windshields and airplane seats. This train will mainly be used to transport passengers short distances. Its highest speed is 160 kilometers per hour, much faster than normal trains.
