Artificial Earth Made of Waste

It is now feasible to get high quality nutrient earth from waste materials with the success of artificial earth technology.

After twenty years of research, Lin Jingchao from Taiwan, who has set up a experiment base in Daxing County in south Beijing, now could make earth from agriculture, petrochemical fibre and textile wastes.

The artificial earth weights only one fifth of the natural earth at the same volume and is more suitable to growing plants after sterilization.

"My goal is to take the lead in the world to turn all the building tops green with the artificial earth", said Lin. Now he has built a garden on the top of his company mansion.
