Canon Apologizes for Mistakes on Compact Discs
Canon's Hong Kong branch released an apology Tuesday, saying it sincerely apologizes for mistaking Hong Kong and Taiwan as countries instead of regions on its website and compact discs distributed in China.
The letter of apology said the Japanese company made serious mistakes on information contained on a compact discs distributed with its ink-jet printers. The letter also said the company made similar mistakes on its Chinese website.
According to the letter, all CDs will be returned to Canon to be destroyed.
