China's Leading Investment Banker Opens On-line Trading

China's leading investment banker Guotai Jun'an formally launched its website www.gtja.com and on-line stock trading on Monday, according to China Securities, a Beijing-based newspaper.

The Shanghai-based investment banker now provides on-line trading for WAP, Personal Data Assistant and STK-based mobile phone users.

The website's 128-digit coding system guarantees safe on-line trading, said Guotai Jun'an's president executive Yao Gang.

Guotai Jun'an merged between the former Guotai and Jun'an companies in July 1999. The company leads China's investment bankers in terms of registered capital and business capacity.
