CAS Sets up Plant Research Institute in Shanghai
The Chinese Academy of Sciences set up an institute in Shanghai Tuesday to develop and promote research work on the physiology, plant ecology and the application of modern agro-biology techniques.
A state-level lab on molecule ecology was also set up in the institute today focusing on the relationships between insects and plants, sustained agricultural development, and control of pests and diseases.
