Shanghai Launches Family Planning WebsiteChina opened its family planning website in the east China city Shanghai Monday.The www.popinfo.gov.cn website is sponsored by the municipal government of Shanghai. The website has such contents as Chinese population, forum of population, global information and population statistics and dictionary. It also invites 16 family planning experts as consultants. In order to provide better family planning info to neighborhood communities, the family planning authorities of the Shanghai municipal government donated computers to 24 communities in the city. Zhang Weiqing, deputy director of the State Family Planning Commission, and Vice Mayor of Shanghai Zuo Huanshen unveiled the website at a launching ceremony held in Shanghai Monday. |
