Chinese Private Enterprise Involved in Air Service
The Hejia Industrial Group of Sichuan Province, one of the top 100 Chinese private enterprises, and the China Eastern Air Group have signed a contract on the setting up of Dongfang-Hualong General-purpose Airlines Company.
Li Zhongming, president of the China Eastern Air Group, said that the new company will be mainly engaged in development of tourism in western China, and helping explore gas-piping line from west to east, hanging operation and aerial shooting.
Hejia group, one of the 31 leading private enterprises of Sichuan Province, southwest China, boasts a capital of 2 billion yuan (240 million US dollars). The China Eastern Air Group under the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has a 30 billion yuan (3.61 billion US dollars) capital.
According to the agreement, Hejia group will hold 55 percent of the total shares of the new company, and the China Eastern Air Group has the rest 45 percent.
