The US fast food giant Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has increased its outlets in China to 370 since its first restaurant opened in Beijing in 1987.
At present, the Chinese capital city alone has had 45 KFC restaurants, employing 25,000 people. The remaining outlets scatter in 90 other cities across China.
Over the past 13 years, KFC outlets have sold out 156 million chickens in China since its Qianmen Restaurant in Beijing was set up in November 1987. The Qianmen Restaurant is believed to be the largest in the world.
