Vice-Premier Meets With Macao SAR Official

Vice-Premier Qian Qichen met with Florinda Rosa Silva Chan, Secretary of the Department of Administration and Justice of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) government in Beijing Monday.

Qian spoke highly of the achievements scored by the Macao SAR government, headed by Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau Wah, in the past half year since its establishment.

The central government will earnestly implement the "One country, two systems" principle and the Macao Basic Law, Qian said, adding it will also spare no effort to support and assist the SAR government in all its measures to realize the social stability and economic development in Macao.
