China Pacific Insurance Opens Third Regional Website
China Pacific Insurance Company Ltd.(CPIC), China's major insurance company, opened its third regional website recently in Shanghai following Beijing and Hainan.
The new website will provide consultation on its business, handle complaints from its clients and collect insurance policy orders.
"We have decided to invest millions of dollars to open online insurance service throughout the country," said Wang Guoliang, general manager of the company.
"Online insurance business will make up 10 percent of our total business volume in three years and 15 percent in five years," Wang said.
