Border Police Seize Heroin in Fujian
Border police in the city of Putian, east China's Fujian Province, seized 1,055 grams of heroin recently, the largest sum of heroin ever confiscated by local police over the past few years.
An elderly couple and two other suspects were detained by police.
A report said that border police arrested two drug dealers on the spot on July 16, seizing five grams of heroin.
Further investigation led to the discovery of a 55-year-old man named Zhang Jinbo and his wife who have been selling heroin for a period of time. Police found 1,050 grams of heroin in the couple's house.
