Tianjin Unicom Features Most Complete Service in China
Tianjin Unicom provide the most services covering mobile communication, data communication, Internet support, Internet Phone lines, local calls and domestic and abroad calls in the country.
Tianjin Unicom has seen a rapid growth since last year. Its market share is now about 20 percent of the city's total, five percentage points higher than the average level of all the China Unicom branches.
China Unicom was set up in 1994 as a competitor to the previously sole operator--China Telecom. Tianjin was among the first cities to have Unicom branches.
Tianjin Unicom will invest another 900 million yuan (about 10.8 million US dollars) this year to raise its switchboard capacity and database content.
