Chinese Vice President Hu Jintao left Minsk for Kazakhstan Thursday, winding up his three-day official visit to Belarus.

First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov and other high-ranking Belarussian officials saw off Hu and his entourage at the Minsk Airport at 12:00 local time.

During his visit, Hu held talks with Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko and met with Prime Minister Vladimir Yermoshin and the two speakers, Pavel Shipuk and Anatoly Malofeyev, respectively.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the development of friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, and voiced willingness to enhance the mutually beneficial ties.

They stressed that the well-developing Sino-Belarussian relationship and cooperation could help promote stability and peace in the world.

Belarus is the fourth leg of Hu's five-nation tour, during which he had already visited Myanmar, Thailand and Indonesia. Kazakhstan will be the last leg of his current 15-day trip.
