Chinese Red Cross Donates for Forest Fire Victims in Greece
The Red Cross Society of China recently donated 20,000 US dollars, via the Chinese Embassy in Greece, to its Greek counterpart.
In July, more than 1,000 forest fires broke out in Greece, due to high temperatures, averaging 42 degrees C., and windy weather.
The forest fires have resulted in heavy financial losses and brought enormous difficulties to the life of the local people, according to the Chinese Red Cross.
