China Sets up Internet Committee
The China Internet Committee was officially set up Thursday.
Under the supervision of the China Information Economy Association, sponsors include gateway websites and e-commerce websites Sina, Sohu and 8848, and media websites such as Xinhuanet. com and CCTV.com.
The committee will regularly call in IT entrepreneurs and experts to discuss the direction of Internet developments.
The committee will also provide opportunities for international exchange and training courses for personnel in the industry.
