Big Press Paper Price Hikes Predicted in China
Big press paper price hikes are predicted in China because of a rising domestic demand for paper in markets in second half year.
According to price departments of the State Development Planning Commission, the price hikes are firstly due to a rising price of wood pulp imports and other resources. Typical is a near 50% price raise of this over that by last yearend and almost a 40% price rise of waste paper imports, not to say new price rises told. What is more, a 40% price rise of fuel and liquid nitrogen in paper production has put much pressure on the producers in China.
