East China Province to Host Horticulture Expo
East China's Jiangsu Province will host its first horticulture exposition from September 20 to October 8.
The Expo in the provincial capital Nanjing will show special gardening and horticulture arts of various localities in the province. It will be part of the sixth National Arts Festival.
The province plans to promote communication and cooperation with other parts of the country in the arts, according to sponsors.
Miniature landscapes, root carvings, and flower arranging will be displayed in the picturesque Xuanwu Park. The province will also hold gardening trade fairs, display gardening technology, and seminars, as well as dragon boats racing and artistic performances.
The Expo will be hosted by the Provincial Construction Department, and the Nanjing Landscape Garden Bureau.
