Air France to Expand Business in HK

Air France will increase the number of its cargo flights on the Hong Kong-Paris route from four to five per week as from October 29 this year, said Bernard Aubreton, the airlines' regional general manager Tuesday.

The flights will be available in the whole week but Monday and Saturday, said Aubreton, who is in charge of business in China and the Philippines.

"Air France attributes great importance to the market in the Asia-Pacific area," he said.

Air France's revenues from the Asia-Pacific area accounts for 12 percent of the company's total revenues, according to Aubreton.

Moreover, Air France will introduce Boeing 777, whose all 202 seats are equipped with personal TV entertainment systems, to the passenger flights from Hong Kong to Paris in January next year.
