Tele-diagnostics System Put into Use in Tianjin
Medical tele-diagnosis has become a reality in this north China port city with a tele-diagnostics system using super-definition displays and state-of-art network equipment now in use in the city's No.1 Hospital.
The digitized system allows surgeons in the Tianjin No.1 Hospital, Beijing Union Medical college Hospital, and Liaoning Jinqiu Hospital to make simultaneous joint diagnoses of patients.
The system was jointly developed by the three Chinese hospitals and the Mitsubishi Electric Corp. and the Center for Global Information Technology Cooperation in Japan.
