China Through to Team Finals at Asian Junior Badminton Championships
China secured both berths in the boys' and girls' team finals in the Asian junior badminton championships in Kyoto on Saturday.
The second-seeded Chinese boys outplayed
Malaysia
3-1 in the best-of-five semi-finals after a 3-0 victory over
India
in the quarter-finals and set up a re-match against
Indonesia
in the final.
Top-seeded defending champions
Indonesia
, who beat China 3-1 in last year's final, crushed Chinese Taipei and South Korea both 3-0 on their way to the final.
In the girls' semi-finals, defending champion China eased past Chinese Taipei 3-0 and second-seeded South Korea were 3-1 winners over host Japan.
