The United States military's again successfully tested the Patriot Advanced Capability Missile, PAC-3, in New Mexico State.
The defense department says the PAC-3, an improved version of the Patriots used during the Gulf War, intercepted and destroyed the missile target.
This was the fourth successful "hit-to-kill" intercept in a row for the PAC-3 since the beginning of last year.
The test program for the new Patriot, part of the American Theater Missile Defense system, will include another 13 shots at different types of target missiles.
