East China's Jiangxi Province plans to launch more than 100 projects for overseas investment in the trade fair scheduled from Nov. 16 through 18.
The projects mainly involve transportation, agriculture, tourism, environment protection, city infrastructure, transformation of state-owned enterprises and shares transfer and auction of state-controlled enterprises.
Provincial departments and local governments are expected to host an estimated 600 investors including some 200 from overseas. The fair aims to attract at least 200 million U.S. dollars of investment from overseas and some 1.5 billion yuan from domestic investors.
The fair will feature a seminar on Jiangxi's development strategy into the 21st century, while organizing trips of participants to the new development zones in the provincial capital, guided tours, and evening galas.
