Tang is the most senior Chinese official to pay a formal visit to

He is expected to hold talks with his

n counterpart External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh and also call on

n Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Saturday.
