G-8 Leaders Kick Off Annual Summit in Okinawa
Heads of state and government from the Group of Eight (G-8) countries kicked off their annual summit Friday to tackle a host of challenges posed by advances in economic globalization and the development of information technology.
The G-8 comprises Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia and the United States.
