Qingdao to Host International Wushu Tournament

An international wushu tournament will be held in Qingdao from July 27 to 30.

150 competitors on twenty-five wushu teams hailing from countries and regions such as the USA, Japan, Australia, Canada, Poland, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brazil, Hong Kong, Macao, and China Taipei will enter the match.

There will also be 19 Chinese teams competing in the match from cities including Beijing, Harbin, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Guizhou and Qingdao.

Wushu practitioners from children and youth to 70-years-old masters are eligible to register for the tournament. The matches will be divided into five age groups. There will be nine events including traditional wushu, Chinese boxing and weapons katas, set katas, shadowboxing and sword.
