China to Host Inaugural Asian Beach Volleyball Championships
The inaugural Asian Beach Volleyball Championships will be staged from August 16-21 in Yangjiang, Guangdong Province, organizers said on Thursday.
Exactly 43 teams from 14 countries and regions have entered for the competition until Thursday, they said.
Beach volleyball will become an official sport for the first time at the Sydney Olympic Games this summer.
