Forged Chinese Visas Holders Repatriated

Eight foreigners who entered China with forged Chinese visas have been repatriated by border police at the Alataw border check point in northwest China's Xinjiang Ugyur Autonomous Region.

The case was the first of its kind ever handled by the check point.

The eight, seven Turks and one Iranian, arrived at Alataw Shankou by an international train on July 11. They were found holding fake Chinese visas and then detained by police.

When questioned, the foreigners revealed that the forged visas were bought from travel agencies outside China.
