Taiwan's Population Density Breaks Record

Taiwan's population density has already reached 613 people per square kilometer, setting a new record, according to the newest statistics from Taiwan.

Currently, there are more than 22.17 million people registered in Taiwan, 165,000 more than last year or a 0.75% increase. At the current rate, Taiwan's population would break 23 million people by the year 2005.
