Kyrgyzstan Welcomes Putin's Visit to ChinaRussian President Vladimir Putin's ongoing visit to China is of great importance in improving global peace, stability and security, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry and Defense Ministry said Tuesday.The two ministries said in a joint statement that Kyrgyzstan welcomes the Russian President's formal visit to China and think it particularly important in enhancing the understanding, trust and cooperation between Russia and China. The statement praised the massive contributions made by the two nations in maintaining stability and security in Central Asia and the world at large. It also spoke highly of Kyrgyzstan's fruitful cooperation with the two nations on both bilateral and multilateral basis. The statement expressed satisfaction with the constructive cooperation among the "Shanghai Five" countries, Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, in combating terrorism, extremism and separatism. |
