Guangzhou to Host International Stamp, Coin Exposition

A four-day international stamp and coin exposition will be held on October 31 in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong province.

It is the third time for China to host such a fair, which will attract more than 100 post and coin-producing administrations and businessmen from dozens of foreign countries and regions.

The first two were held in Beijing and Shanghai, respectively in 1995 and 1997.

To commemorate the exposition, the People's Bank of China will issue a silver coin with the portrait of panda, and the State Post Administration will also issue a new stamp.
