The Qinghai Oilfield in northwest China aims to turn out two million tons of crude oil and 450 million cubic meters of natural gas by the end of this year, according to China Petroleum News on Tuesday.
The paper said that by the end of June the oilfield had turned out 984,000 tons of crude oil and 179 million cubic meters of gas, up 6.4 percent and 4.4 percent, respectively, over the same period of last year.
By the latter half of June, the daily crude oil output of the oilfield had topped 5,520 tons.
