"Grape King" Challenges Fruit From Alien Lands

Jiang Wenbin, Director of Wujiang Grape Research Institute in Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, has lately announced a tasteful decision, claiming that his grape will compete with any foreign grapes, betting a car as a prize.

The rule of the game is like this: say a bunch of naturally-growing grape, no matter where it grows, how heavy is its cluster and average weight of a granule, how less the ratio of stones and good in taste, so long as the four indexes are all better than the grape of his breeding, the winner can take away a brand-new "City Baby" car.

The grape bred by Jiang Wenbin with each granule the size of a table-tennis ball, has for three times on end scored a record in weight of a single grape-granule in China, thereby creating the Guinness World Record and he was thus reputed as the " Grape King".

Up to now, the species of the grape has been spread to more than 20 provinces, cities and autonomous regions, therefore, making many farmers in those areas rich.

The grape has four distinctive features: stone-less, big in size of each granule and cluster, high sugar content with thick and crispy pulp and easy to be kept.

Jiang Wenbin said that this game is to promote good breeding and technology and let the grapes produced in Jinhua go to the world. He welcomes the excellent grapes from all other countries in the world to compete with China's grapes.
