Prince Charles Rejects Remarriage

Prince Charles does not intend marrying his long-time companion Camilla Parker Bowles, according to a letter issued by his private secretary.

The letter was sent to Britain's Press Complaints Commission in response to a newspaper article that had claimed the Prince was considering remarrying in Scotland.

The Presbyterian Church of Scotland is willing to remarry divorced people, while the Church of England frowns on divorce.

The letter says the Prince of Wales will not remarry because he is concerned for the feelings of his children, the children of Mrs Parker Bowles, the memory of his late wife and his public role.
