Summer Grain Output Decreases in China
China's summer grain output will decrease 11 billion kilogram or by 9.3 percent compared with that last year, said Ye Zhen, spokesman of the National Bureau of Statistics, at Tuesday's press conference.
But the added value of the agricultural sector increased by 1.5 percent year-on-year to reach 450 billion yuan in the period, Ye said, adding that the husbandry and fishery sectors witnessed stable development in the first half of this year.
