Top Military University Trains Senior Army Officers
Twenty-four graduate of China's top military university, the University of National Defense (UND), have recently been awarded the academic title of doctorate, the Liberation Army Daily reported Monday.
The latest awarding has brought the number of the university's post-graduates with master or doctorate titles to more than 400, and over 100 of whom have been promoted to officers at the regimental and divisional levels..
Founded on April 30, 1988, the post-graduate institute of the university has been authorized to confer master degree in 14 subjects and doctoral degree in 6 subjects.
The UND was established in Beijing on December 24, 1985, based on part of former Military Academy, Political Academy and Academy of Logistics of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
