CPV Delegation Winds up China Visit

A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) headed by Nguten Minh Triet, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPV Central Committee, left Sunday afternoon after winding up a 10-day visit to China.

Yesterday evening, Li Changchun, a member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee and also secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC, met with the delegation, which arrived here earlier yesterday.

Li briefed the guests on the economic and social development of the province, and expressed the hope that economic and trade cooperation between Guangdong and Vietnam would be further expanded.

Nguten, who is also secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Committee of the CPV, voiced appreciation over Guangdong's economic achievements, and invited more business people of Guangdong to conduct cooperation with Vietnam.
