Quadruplets Born in NW China Province
A 27-year-old countrywoman from Huaxian County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, gave birth to quadruplets Saturday evening at a local hospital, both the mother and children are now in good conditions.
According to a report reaching here today, the quadruplets, all boys, were born between 7:55 p.m. and 8:35 p.m., one month earlier than the expected date of birth. The biggest baby only weighs 1,350 grams.
Doctors are quoted as saying that it is very rare to see quadruplets of the same sex.
The mother, Deng Xinfang, and her husband are very happy to have the four children, and hoped that they will grow up healthily.
