Bayin Chaolu Selected As Head of Youth and Students' Organization
Bayin Chaolu of the Mongolian nationality and Shen Yue of the Man nationality were selected as Chairpersons of the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF) and the All- China Students' Federation (ACSF) respectively.
Baoyin Chaolu, chairman of the 8th ACYF National Committee, was re-elected chairman of the ninth ACYF National Committee. Delegates attending the just-concluded First Plenum of ACYF's Ninth National Committee also voted for 19 people from all works of life as vice-chairpersons. The week-long meeting passed the work report of the ACYF's Eighth National Committee and amended part of their constitution.
The meeting called on the young Chinese both at home and abroad to do more to revitalize China through science, technology and education.
The 23rd National Congress of the ACSF was held along with the ACYF's meeting.
The newly-elected chairwoman of the 23rd National Committee of the ACSF addressed today's closing ceremony, saying that students should develop themselves by contributing more to the country's development.
The two elected national committees will be responsible for the two organizations' work in next five years.
