Macao to Host Int'l Trade, Investment Fair in OctoberThe Fifth Macao International Trade and Investment Fair will be held here from October 20 to 24, the Macao Daily News reported Friday.It will be the first large-scale international business fair held since Macao returned to the motherland in last December. Four similar fairs were held under the Portuguese rule in Macao. Four exhibition areas will be divided and about 200 booths will be set up for business delegations. In the meantime, noted scholars will be invited to give lectures at several seminars. The fair is aimed at strengthening Macao's role as a bridge between the inland areas of China and the European Union and Portuguese-speaking countries. |
