China Welcomes Russia's New Diplomatic Concept
China welcomes Russia's new diplomatic concept to strengthen relations with Asia, especially with China, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhu Bangzao said Thursday.
China and Russia announced the establishment of strategic cooperative partnership in 1996, and both sides have contributed to the multi-polarization process and establishing a just and reasonable new international political and economic order, said Zhu.
Zhu said this at a regular press conference this afternoon commenting on Russia's new diplomatic concept recently put forward by its foreign minister.
"The state relationship between China and Russia, featuring non-alignment, non-confrontation and non-direction at the third country, not only tallies with the fundamental interest of both countries, but also benefits peace and stability of the world," he added.
