Henan Plans to Invest 9 Billion Yuan in Highway ConstructionCentral China's Henan Province plans to increase this year's investment for highway construction to 9.1 billion yuan (about US$1.1 billion), up 30 percent from the figure planned at the beginning of the year.The investment will be used in the construction of eight new highways and 21 projects being built. The investment complies with the national strategy of accelerating the development of western China, according to a local economic official.
