IPU President Leaves for HK
Najma Heptulla, president of the Council of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), left Beijing Tuesday morning for Hong Kong to continue her China trip.
During her stay in Beijing, Heptulla met with Chairman of China 's National People's Congress Standing Committee
Li Peng
. She also visited the ancient city of Xi'an in northwest China.
