Chinese Vice-President Meets Delegates to IASIA Annual Conference

Vice-President Hu Jintao met Tuesday with delegates to the ongoing annual conference of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA).

After congratulating for the success of the conference, Hu said he believed the meeting has provided an excellent opportunity for schools and institutions of administration in China and those abroad to learn from each other.

The China National School of Administration and local branches in China are faced with the important task of educating and training administrative personnel, Hu said, expressing the hope that schools of administration in China will strengthen exchange and cooperation with their counterparts abroad in the realm of the administration science and training of administrative personnel.

IASIA President Mohan Kaul said that delegates to the conference from all countries are happy to exchange ideas with their Chinese colleagues, as China has scored great success in its reforms in the area of administration.
