Pakistan Strongly Condemns Bomb Blast at Its Embassy in Kabul

Pakistan has strongly condemned the bomb blast that occurred at 0600 hours (local time) Monday morning at the Pakistani embassy in Kabul, a spokesman of the Foreign Ministry said on Monday in a statement.

The spokesman said that the consular section of the embassy has been extensively damaged. The building has also suffered damages and windows of most of the offices have also been smashed.

Fortunately, nobody was injured in the bomb blast.

The spokesman expressed the hope that the perpetrators of this heinous crime would be swiftly apprehended and punished.

The Afghan Taliban has also condemned this act and is carrying out investigations into the incident. It has also promised to increase the security of the embassy.
