FISU Group Begins Inspection Tour in Beijing
The inspection group of the Ineternational University Sports Federation (FISU) were impressed by the preparatory work of the 21st Summer Universiade to be held in Beijing in 2001.
Headed by George E. Killian, President of FISU, the group inspected the site of the athlete village and were satisfied with the progress of the construction work.
The group also listened to the reports made by 12 sub committees of the organising committee for the 2001 Summer Universiade.
