Tibetan Students Get Better Quality Education

Tibetan students living in Beijing gathered at one local middle school for the entrance exam. Most said they were well prepared both mentally and physically.

Teacher in charge said:" Most of my students can go to college, and some of them can compete for the better universities like Peking University or Qinghua."

The teacher said that, in the past, Tibetan students took the entrance exam but that most didn't get the marks they needed.

Today the story is different, with education in Tibet developing rapidly. And China is paying much more attention to the education of Tibetan students living in other parts of China.

To preserve Tibetan culture, Tibetan students will take part in a special language exam.
