Chronicle of Events on Macao's Return Published
A book which records the major events in the course of Macao's return to the motherland has been published in Macao.
Published by the Macao Foundation, the Chronicle of Events of Macao's Return recounts the entire historical process of Macao's return from 1972 to 1999, including the joint efforts of Chinese and Portuguese governments to settle the Macao question.
The book has three parts: the process of solving the Macao question by Chinese and Portuguese governments; the stance and principles of the Chinese government on solving the Macao question; and other major events during Macao's transitional period.
The book also contains important documents and newspaper and magazine data about the Macao question.
