IASIA Annual Conference Opens

The annual conference of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) opened in Beijing Monday.

Wang Zhongyu, state councilor and president of the National School of Administration of China, attended the meeting.

More than 300 domestic and overseas representatives are taking part in the conference.

The conference is sponsored by the National School of Administration with the assistance by the Municipal School of Administration of Beijing.

The theme of the conference is "Improving Accountability, Efficiency and Responsiveness in Government: ideas and lessons for the new millennium".
